I’m so excited to finally post about my airmail postcards. They’re the first thing I ever had printed and I’m superhappy with how they turned out.

Some of you probably know that I’m a bit obsessed with everything airmail (you’re invited to join my airmail flickr group, if you feel the same). A while back I cut out a striped airmail frame and it’s been sitting on my desk waiting to be made into something – until one day I looked at it and thought how fabulous it would be to have a simple airmail framed postcard that you can draw on or cut out or or or…

There are so many things you can do with them, so I’m pretty sure you’ll come up with a lot more creative uses… Last night I had lots of fun making little postcard packs to put in the shops – you can find them here or hier.

I made a very simple A4 journal as a birthday present for one of my best friends from college a while back, using black booklinen for the spine and natural brown kraftpaper for the covers.

I called it “book for boys” because I restrained (?) from using any of my patterned papers. Today I finished a second almost identical kraftpaper journal. I think I might add it to the shop tomorrow . It’s in the shop.

Liesan was wondering where to find grey elastics, I got it here.

I finally did it: After almost 2 years on blogspot I finally moved my blog to my own server using wordpress – the best blog system in the whole wide world. The moving worked out surprisingly well, with the help of the magic button I got all 48 posts and even 78 of 80 comments automatically transferred in less than 2 minutes. Unfortunately the comment authors URLs got lost, but if that’s the only thing, I’ll be more than happy to copy & paste those during the next days.

I’m not all done with the layout and setup, but I’m quiet happy with this first version for now. I didn’t expect to get this far in just 1 day. Well, I really hope you like it too! Looking forward to hear from you!

Just a first try at making what I’d call a “paperama”. Wish I could add some nice music (without getting in copyright-trouble). Any suggestions? Will also need to try a better program for video-editing.
