Looks like I (re)discovered crocheting. After seeing all these amazing granny square blanket projects e.g. by Sandra Juto and Sarah Goldschadt
I decided to give it a try too.
My goal is to make at least 64 squares using this Sunburst Flower Granny Squares pattern and turn them into a tiny blanket (ca. 80 x 80 cm). I’ve been working on it a lot the first 2 weeks and finished 32 sqaures so far, but I notice how I’ve been slowing down since starting to sew the threads away (is that correct english?).
What crafts are you planning to (re)try this year?
Any big projects planned?

Wow, you progress a lot! They look great – the grey colour was really the right choice – and I’m sure that the blanket will look even better!
Have one question for you: do you have any tips on how to level page block? I tried with a ruler and a scalpel (according to the instructions in the book I bought) but it didn’t work quite well (the upper pages were ok but the lower ones were crooked :(). Thanks for anything!
xo,
Meg
Thank you ladies!
@Meg It gets a bit better with patience & practice but never really perfect if you don’t have a professional cutting maschine.
these look great! I’ll have to get back to mine some time — but working on another pattern for darling daughter :)
and I look forward to looking at your blog, too!

Thank you so much Maryjo! I never would have made it without your detailed pattern & explanations :)
