@DangAndBlast! I didn’t put anything on top. Have you had another try with bookbinding glue? It’s very strong, so you shouldn’t have trouble with the edges.

I've been thinking of doing something similar, but the few trial bits I've done, the edges seem to wear really fast -- one collaging friend I have says she puts matte medium over the top of things like that, and I'm not sure how well that would work!
