I discovered this great inspiring japanese book on bookbinding a while on etsy. It sold out before I could get a copy but luckily alittlegoodness recently found a copy for me. The instructions are in japenese, but there are lots of detailed drawings and the featured books are just amazing.

your blog is lovely. that header image is cool. i was actually commenting, though, because i was wondering if you’d like a translator for that book. as a fellow book-maker, i’d love to learn some new binding techniques and pass the knowledge along. if you’ve got a scanner or something, i’d be happy to do it. anyhow, let me know. maybe i’ll just have to pick up a copy myself.
