So here’s the third and (for now) last post about the beautiful things I recently found in my mail. This gorgeous Blackbird fabric pin by Etsy seller inmybackyard flew all the way from New Zealand. It’s my favorite and I found a sunny spot for it on my jacket.
Those cute little owl beads I got from Atomic Veggie, they’re great for jewelry (check out the cute owl earrings by Etsy seller secretjewellz) – I actually used a white owl for one of my memo pockets.
Besides that I’ve started collecting yellow art prints for my “sunny yellow wall” in my new office. I’m planning to cover the whole wall with yellow art in all kinds of different black frames. So far, I got…
When I found out about etsy my first idea was selling there and it acutally took a while until i started buying things (shame on me ;-). But now I really have to admit that it’s getting addictive. I just bought a couple of pendants by imogen which I had in favorites for ages. I also bought several more things in the last weeks, but I’ll post those later.
I started using book cloth for my memo pockets and I’m really happy with the results. I did one set of memo pockets covered completely in book cloth and for the inside I used some really nice gift wrap:

After that I tried several combinations – even though I was in doubt wether they’d look good – and I’m completely overwhelmed by the results:
I recently started to design my own patterns with Adobe Illustrator. I went through lots of tutorials on pattern design online and I want to share some links:

I already printed some of them, but the print quality wasn’t too good. Though I ordered some really good archival paper last week hoping I might achieve a better quality, because I’d really love to make some memo pockets with my own designs.
